Hello everyone,

I first would like to thank and congratulate you all on your hard work this season. The collection was a great critical success. Because we've been so busy, we haven't had time to sit down together and discuss some different ideas for next season

I'd like to invite everyone to lunch tomorrow at Maharani's. We'll meet at 1 o'clock and this will also give everyone a chance to meet our team's newest member, Antonio Musco. Antonio will be developing a new line of accessories for our company, and I'm sure he will become a valuable member of our team.

If you would like to attend this meeting, please call Eva Green sometime this afternoon so that she can make a reservation at the restaurant. I look forward to seeing you all, and congratulations again on a job well done.

Fall festival Ends in Disaster.

Winnitoba: Applause turned to upset last Friday when the Winnitoba Symphony held their annual Fall Festival Performance at the Winnitoba Opera House. The 3-day long Fall Festival came to an end with a featured concert, which was attended by just over 300 people. The concert ended with a montage of traditional mid-western music for which the symphony was accompanied by the Winnitoba Men's Choir. Although the choir is currently touring Canada to promote their new CD, they were glad to work with the symphony. The audience did not seem to appreciate the performance, which featured nationally recognized soloist, Donald Pericelli along with violinist, Mark Whitten. Accounts claim that audience members were yelling at the musicians and leaving the Opera House after requesting a refund. To add to the general unhappiness of the audience, an unexpected staging malfunction made the evening even worse. One attendee reported seeing the stage curtain hanging quite loosely throughout the performance. As the symphony finished their traditional music piece, someone on the side of the stage, tripped over the dangling material bringing the entire curtain onto the stage. Several players had their instruments knocked out of their hands and the concert had to end abruptly. Donald Pericelli was injured when a hook holding the curtain up hit him in the head. He is currently recovering at Winnitoba Memorial Hospital.

Local Newsdesk,
Winnitoba

Dear Sir,

I am a cellist with the Winnitoba symphony. I was performing with the orchestra at the end of last week's Fall Festival. As a participant in the event, I would like to complain that your coverage of the event was quite unfair. To begin with, our audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy the complete performance, including the traditional music montage at the end of the show. At no time do I recall any audience members yelling towards the stage. I do not know about people requesting refunds, but if there were, I'm sure our performance was not the reason. As for the incident concerning the stage curtain, it did fall but not until the very end of the set and it did not affect the performance in any way. The curtain simply fell to the side of the stage. Unfortunately, the Winnitoba Times has printed quite negative articles about the Winnitoba Symphony in the past. I would like to request that this not become a habit. Please use the correct facts and print a retraction in next week's addition.
Thank you,

Karen Winter
