Riya Shankar [9:10 A.M.]
I received a customer complaint about our Web site yesterday. I was wondering if you have time to look into it now.

Noel Mitchell [9:13 A.M.]
Was the complaint about our Frequently Asked Questions page? We finally finished fixing it last night. Everything should be okay.

Riya Shankar [9:14 A.M.]
That's good to hear, but the problem actually concerns the store content page. The customer mentioned that several images of our latest products aren't loading.

Noel Mitchell [9:18 A.M.]
If it was yesterday evening, it was probably because we were updating the pictures. But I'll double-check the page and get back to you right away.

Riya Shankar [9:20 A.M.]
Fantastic. Thanks for your help!

NEW YORK - Synchia Enterprises, Inc. announced Monday that it has named Gary Myers as its new chief financial officer. Myers, formerly executive vice president and CFO at LoveJoy Co., will begin his new position June 12th. He will report directly to the Synchia Chairman and chief executive, Michael Spooner.

Myers, 52, replaces Cathy Fines, who is moving over to run Synchia's fledgling on-line music sales operation. There had been talk of moving Fines out of the CFO position for weeks, as Synchia's earnings came in below target and the company's stock faltered.

"Gary has a track record of helping companies to generate greater value, and his expertise in financial management, in addition to his significant experience in the consumer business, will boost our growth across the company," Spooner said in a written statement.

20. What is happening at Synchia Enterprises?
21. According to the article, why is this change being made?

<strong>Winnitoba Timesstrong>
Fall festival Ends in Disaster.

Winnitoba: Applause turned to upset last Friday when the Winnitoba Symphony held their annual Fall Festival Performance at the Winnitoba Opera House. The 3-day long Fall Festival came to an end with a featured concert, which was attended by just over 300 people. The concert ended with a montage of traditional mid-western music for which the symphony was accompanied by the Winnitoba Men's Choir. Although the choir is currently touring Canada to promote their new CD, they were glad to work with the symphony. The audience did not seem to appreciate the performance, which featured nationally recognized soloist, Donald Pericelli along with violinist, Mark Whitten. Accounts claim that audience members were yelling at the musicians and leaving the Opera House after requesting a refund. To add to the general unhappiness of the audience, an unexpected staging malfunction made the evening even worse. One attendee reported seeing the stage curtain hanging quite loosely throughout the performance. As the symphony finished their traditional music piece, someone on the side of the stage, tripped over the dangling material bringing the entire curtain onto the stage. Several players had their instruments knocked out of their hands and the concert had to end abruptly. Donald Pericelli was injured when a hook holding the curtain up hit him in the head. He is currently recovering at Winnitoba Memorial Hospital.

Local Newsdesk,
Winnitoba

Dear Sir,

I am a cellist with the Winnitoba symphony. I was performing with the orchestra at the end of last week's Fall Festival. As a participant in the event, I would like to complain that your coverage of the event was quite unfair. To begin with, our audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy the complete performance, including the traditional music montage at the end of the show. At no time do I recall any audience members yelling towards the stage. I do not know about people requesting refunds, but if there were, I'm sure our performance was not the reason. As for the incident concerning the stage curtain, it did fall but not until the very end of the set and it did not affect the performance in any way. The curtain simply fell to the side of the stage. Unfortunately, the Winnitoba Times has printed quite negative articles about the Winnitoba Symphony in the past. I would like to request that this not become a habit. Please use the correct facts and print a retraction in next week's addition.
Thank you,

Karen Winter
Winnitoba Symphony, Cellist

22. How long is the Winnitoba Fall Festival?
23. Where was the Winnitoba Men's Choir traveling?
24. According to the article, what caused the curtain to fall?
25. What was Karen's purpose for writing to the Times?
26. What does Karen Winter say is true about the article?

Health Note March

The Truth About Supplements? (continued from page 19)
So, ideally, maintaining a varied diet is enough to satisfy the nutritional requirements of adults aged 65 and older. However, some seniors may find this difficult to do, as they lack time and find preparing nutritious meals to be too challenging. In such cases, many doctors agree that taking vitamins and other supplements may be helpful. Even so, physicians believe that these supplements should be carefully regulated so as not to cause unintended harm. According to a controlled study1 by the Research Institute for Aging, some vitamins and minerals can be toxic when ingested in large amounts. For this reason, getting the advice of a trusted and qualified physician before beginning a vitamin regimen is recommended.

1-Health Note was granted advance access to the study, which will soon be available for publication.
