In response to the numerous requests we've received, the Fitness Center will be starting up yoga classes this September. We have hired a new instructor with eight years of experience instructing classes in Hatha yoga. The classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:45 a.m. in the Fitness Center aerobics hall, but if there is enough demand, we will be opening another class starting at 6:45 a.m. As always, there is no charge for employees, and members of the general public who wish to join can do so for $25 for the eight-week session, or $3 per class. I recommend that you register early, as space is limited.
In order to ensure the health and welfare of our staff, we require that those wishing to participate in the yoga course have their family physician fill out a health history form. You can pick up the forms prior to the start of September at the front desk in the Fitness Center. Please return the completed form, signed by your doctor, when registering for the class.
No special equipment or footwear is needed, but we recommend stretchable, loose fitting clothing. In addition, for those of you wanting to get extra practice at home, special mats will be available for purchase for a nominal charge starting in September.

I visited South Africa on vacation for 7 days from June 4 to June 11. I stayed at three different hotels during my trip and went to the Sunburst Hotel on June 9 and stayed there for my last 3 days in South Africa. I am confident in saying that the Sunburst is simply the best hotel in the area. Its parking lot is unbelievably huge, and there are staff members everywhere to assist visitors with the utmost level of service and attentiveness. I also loved swimming at the beach, which was just a 3-minute walk away from the hotel. Great food, great location, great staff, and great price. What more can you ask for?

I visited the Sunburst Hotel on July 20 and stayed there for 5 nights. I appreciated the free ticket to a museum I received from the hotel very much, but I must express how I really felt about the hotel itself. The Sunburst Hotel used to be the best hotel in the region, but I personally think it has lost its old glory. The building is undeniably old, all the doors squeak every time I open them, and the wireless Internet is just way too slow. Worst of all, the street the hotel is located on has become very developed, so there are bright lights shining through the windows and many people making loud noises at night. I do not recommend the Sunburst Hotel if you are looking to have a quiet, relaxing vacation.

I have been working on the arrangements for our upcoming conference. I've looked into the City Convention Center, and I think it is the most convenient location. It is close to public transportation and hotels. The accommodations are also excellent. The rooms are large, and we can reserve up to ten meeting rooms. However, the price is almost 50% more than we agreed we could spend. The other choice is the Mayfield Hotel. Many associations hold their conventions there. It is a nice place, and the price is reasonable. However, it is not close to the subway. Also, it is much smaller than the Convention Center. I think we could only get three meeting rooms. In regard to selecting a location for the conference, I think the Convention Center is better than the Mayfield Hotel. The hotel is much too small. Remember, we plan to hold at least five sessions at a time. We couldn't do that at the hotel. We expect more people to take part in the convention this year, so it is important to have a space that can accommodate everyone. About the price, I think we can rearrange the budget a bit in order to be able to pay for it. So go ahead and reserve the space at the Convention Center.
