The time has come for us to determine which faculty members will be promoted. _____(1). Therefore, please consider the potential candidates carefully. This year, the Department of Education will allow all students to renew their student loans online through our department website. To complete this process you will need to have a personal identification number (PIN), which you will use to access your personal account information. If you do not already have a PIN, you can establish one by going to the website and entering your last name and social security number. After that, you will be allowed to select your own PIN or let our computer generate one for you. Be sure to write down your PIN, as you will need it for all future use on the website. This PIN can be used year after year. There is no need to create a new PIN next year once you have made one this year. The estimated time to create a PIN is about five minutes.

Dear Mr. Barlow,

Although we have never formally met, I have been working in your company for over eight years in the printing department. I would like to call your attention to the fact that there is a new resource for printer toner cartridges. Currently, we are spending about $15 for black toner cartridges and $25 for color cartridges. This is because we are buying them directly from the manufacturer. However, I have recently found an Internet dealer who can supply us with unlimited black cartridges for only $1.50 each and color cartridges for 2.50 each. If you are interested, perhaps we could talk about this in more detail at your convenience.

Westerburn Public Library Online Renewal Policy

All books owned by Westerburn can be renewed through your online account. Simply log in, click on the "View" menu, select "Checked out items," and mark the boxes next to the titles you wish to renew. Then press "Send" at the bottom of the screen. Members are allowed to renew our material for two-week periods provided there are no pending requests for them. If materials you have checked out have been requested in advance by any other member, the system will indicate that they cannot be borrowed again.

Interlibrary loans can also be renewed online. However, some restrictions may apply. Please check the sticker on the back of the book cover for the lending library's renewal policies, which may be different from our own.

To answer your question, the reason your request was rejected is that the book you wanted to renew (Call No. 147.09WUD) is from another library with different lending policies than our own, and our online renewal system is not set up to reflect them. If you check the sticker on the back of the book, you'll see that the library where the book is from only allows reference materials to be renewed a single time. Unlike the other items on your list of active loans, you have already renewed this item once before. Please note that it is due tomorrow.
