Re: Photocopier

There have been recurring problems with the office photocopier, particularly with paper jams. I believe the problem is with the type of machine we have. A machine of this size simply does not have the capacity to handle the amount of copying we normally do. Obviously we can't _____(1) the number of copies we make.

This year, the Department of Education will allow all students to renew their student loans online through our department website. To complete this process you will need to have a personal identification number (PIN), which you will use to access your personal account information. If you do not already have a PIN, you can establish one by going to the website and entering your last name and social security number. After that, you will be allowed to select your own PIN or let our computer generate one for you. Be sure to write down your PIN, as you will need it for all future use on the website. This PIN can be used year after year. There is no need to create a new PIN next year once you have made one this year. The estimated time to create a PIN is about five minutes.

Airport Expansion in the Works

FORT REGINALD - The Fort Reginald Ministry of Transportation is currently finalizing plans to expand Mirabel International Airport. According to sources, a minimum of 142 million Euro, more than half coming from overseas investment, is to be earmarked for the project. The Ministry cites the steady increase in air traffic and the deregulation of air transport as the major factors that have led to the elaboration of a project for the expansion and modernization of the current airport.

The main feature of the project will be a major new addition to the terminal, to be designed by the architect Santiago Cervantes. This will expand the total size of the air terminal to cover an area of 25,000 square meters, including five additional gates, and experts estimate it will be capable to handle 2.5 million passengers per year. The groundbreaking ceremony is slated for early this September, and construction is expected to be completed in about 18 months.

Several members of our center recently won a prestigious science award. We plan to celebrate this momentous occasion with a banquet. We would like to book a space that is large enough for about 150 guests. If that's possible, we will be holding our event on September 27 at your hotel.

Also, some of my colleagues and I would like to stay the night. Please let me know if there are any rooms still available for that date. If so, I think eight single rooms would suit our requirements.
