I have been doing business with Spotless Cleaner's for three years and have always received excellent service, but I am quite distressed about this recent incident. I'm writing this e-mail to let you know that I carried out all of the requests in your last message. As you asked, we booked three double rooms for Vera's top management, and nine other standard rooms for the staff. We have also made sure that vegetarian and gluten-free menu options are available in addition to our regular ones. Finally, I asked the kitchen staff to keep the lunch room stocked with hot and cold beverages, as well as light refreshments, throughout each day of the retreat. There is one issue you should be aware of, though. The main building will be closed for repainting on Sunday, August 22. So, I recommend that you use the annex for your activities on that day instead. If there is anything more I can do at this time, please let me know. Thank you!

The Irvine Community Foundation (ICF) awards local nonprofit organizations need-based grants to help improve our community through the Better Irvine Funds Program. The grants range in size from $2,000 to $10,000.

Applications for grants must be submitted on the ICF’s Web site to be considered. Irvine (November 21) – The construction of Irvine Paradise for the Young, a new playground for the children of Irvine, was completed yesterday. The playground is a collaborative work by the Ersel Parents Association (EPA) and the Irvine Community Foundation (ICF). Children will be able to embark on adventures at Irvine Paradise starting on November 25. The president of the EPA will be present at the opening ceremony to deliver a speech regarding the importance of providing safe places for children to have fun and to exercise.
