To: Customer Service
From: Doris Hogue
Subject: Order#10009283
Date: October 10

To Whom It May Concern,

I tried calling the Toptracks 101 customer service directly but could not reach any of the workers. I purchased some albums on your Web site not long ago. —[1]—. After I paid for the selected items, I realized that I had accidently ordered the Rock Station’s Deluxe album, which I did not mean to purchase as I had already done so last month. For some reason, it still remained in my shopping cart and got checked out along with my new list of items, so I accidently paid for it. —[2]—.

On the Web site, the notice says that I should contact customer service and that a refund will be available within 24 hours of purchase. —[3]—. If by any chance, the refund of a single item is not available, could you just cancel my whole order? The Rock Station’s Deluxe album is not cheap and I certainly don’t need two of them. —[4]—. Please get back to me with the available options.

Thank you.

Doris Hogue

Riverton Library Proposes Expansion to Create Community Hub

At a Riverton City Council meeting on May 9, library officials presented plans to expand the Riverton Public Library with a new community hub. The proposal calls for a 2,800-square-meter addition adjacent to the existing building that would include a café, co-working spaces, and a children’s learning wing. The city planning office noted that the site is currently zoned for public use and that the project will require a special permit before construction can begin. Library Director Sonia Patel said the expansion aims to increase services and that it could create employment for up to 35 local residents. The council is scheduled to vote on the application at its June 12 meeting.

Readers' Comments

Evan Brooks posted on May 11:
As the owner of PageTurn Books on Elm Street, I welcome improvements to community spaces, but I worry the library’s plan will hurt independent businesses. I’m particularly concerned that a café inside the new facility would "siphon customers away from independent shops like mine," and that the extra seating and free Wi-Fi might draw people who previously spent money at nearby cafés and bakeries. There’s also the matter of parking—our street already fills up on weekends. I hope the council considers the impact on small vendors before approving the permit.

Subject: Incorrect Printing Charge
ATTACHMENT: Print Receipt (PR-99821)

Hello,

Yesterday I used the library’s public computer and printed documents for a volunteer project. I was using Computer #4 on the second floor and printed 30 black-and-white pages. As a Riverside Library member, I should have had these pages covered by my monthly allowance. However, I was charged $6.50 at the print station. Please find the receipt attached. I verified my membership when I entered the library and I always present my card at the desk. I would appreciate a refund for the charge and clarification on why my membership was not applied.

Thank you,

Maria Lopez
