Please read this announcement carefully. The library will undergo scheduled electrical maintenance that will affect normal services and room availability.

What you need to know:

1. Closure dates: Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, 2025, the main library building will be closed to the public while electricians perform system upgrades.

2. Hours of work and noise: Work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and patrons should expect construction noise during those hours.

3. Limited access: The fourth floor reading rooms will be restricted for safety reasons; staff will redirect patrons to alternate study spaces.

4. Continued services: The outdoor book drops will remain available, and the information desk (located at the entrance) will be staffed throughout the weekend. Please note that Wi‑Fi in some areas may be intermittent while systems are tested.

Inaugural Customer Support Center Opens

Meridian Logistics, a leading provider of supply-chain solutions, has opened its inaugural customer support center in Austin, Texas. The new center will provide 24/7 phone and online assistance to clients across North America and is part of Meridian's initiative to improve response times and customer satisfaction.

Meridian has named Aster Technologies as its exclusive provider of the center's CRM software and cloud telephony services following a two-month selection process that included bids from NovaCom and Streamline Tech. Meridian's vice president of operations said, "Choosing Aster ensures a unified platform and consistent service levels for our customers."
