Caldera Junior Bicycle Hitch Recall

Northwind Cycle is recalling the Caldera Junior bicycle accessory for repair. If you think you may have an affected Caldera Junior, stop using it immediately! The hitch connecting it to the bicycle can fail, causing the Caldera Junior to become unstable, which may result in injury. The Caldera Junior "tandem bicycle accessory" consists of a frame, wheel, seat, pedals, and handlebars. It attaches to the back of a standard bicycle by a hitch. Bicycle stores and retailers nationwide sold the Caldera Junior from March 2000 through July 2001. Caldera Juniors were also sold under the name "Caldera Mongoose," with a "Mongoose" logo appearing on the frame. The recalled Caldera Junior has the model number AC 100, AC 200, or AC 300, on the top tube. Also, recalled Caldera Juniors have an aluminum sleeve on the hitch between the bicycle and the Caldera Junior. Caldera Juniors with nylon or plastic sleeves on the hitch are not included in this recall. Contact us or the retailer from whom you purchased your bike to get a new hitch. Northwind Cycle can be reached at 800-626-2811 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, for a free replacement hitch and instructions.

17. What is a Caldera Junior according to the notice?
18. Which models of the Caldera Junior are not being recalled?

Have a good product or service that nobody knows about?
The Ford Firm has been helping companies increase their profitability for more than twenty years. But don't take our word for it!

Janice Banks, owner and founder of Bankable Eyewear:
Ten years ago I developed a line of fashionable eyeglasses. Our products were excellent and our prices competitive. I made a tidy profit supplying my products to several small stores in New York. But every time I tried to branch out, I faced rejection because nobody had heard of my products. That's when a friend suggested I contact The Ford Firm. Their promotion and publicity experts put my products in the hands of celebrities and on the faces of fashion industry models. Soon, I had stores calling me! I now supply my products to over fifty stores nationwide and also sell my products online.

This is only one of hundreds of similar success stories. So, if you have the goods but not the name, contact The Ford Firm today for a free consultation! Call us at 555-1413 or send us an e-mail to consult@fordpr.net.

23. Why did Ms. Banks hire The Ford Firm?

Cleaning a Laptop Computer

Clean your laptop computer efficiently and safely. Before anything else, make sure to unplug all the cords and remove the battery from your laptop. You will need a soft cloth, a can of compressed air, and a bottle of Leaders Cleaner.

Let’s start with the surface. Put a drop or two of Leaders Cleaner on the cloth and wipe all the sides of your laptop. —[1]—. Using a mixture of water and regular soap is fine, but Leaders Cleaner is a better choice as it evaporates almost immediately, eliminating the danger of liquid getting into your laptop. —[2]—.

Next up is the keyboard. Removing the keys and putting them in a bowl filled with water to clean them is an option. —[3]—. However, simply using a can of compressed air to remove the debris underneath the keys will do the job just fine. Cleaning the monitor should be the last step, so you can prevent the screen from getting dirty with the dust you create while cleaning other parts. —[4]—.

Click here to order Leaders Cleaner. A brief video of our expert performing the laptop cleaning is available here. Talk with technical experts and other registered members of Leaders Today about tech-related issues here.

Eagle Canyon City Park

Over the past month, there has been a sharp increase in reported sightings of raccoons in the open spaces of the park. The park rangers suspect the creatures are attracted by food scraps that are left—whether on purpose or accidentally—by visitors to the park. —[1]—. The city’s public health department does not want to encourage the raccoons to leave the wooded areas of the park as they can be carries of disease and pose a risk to visitors and their pets. —[2]—. With that in mind:

● Please do not leave any garbage in the park—either take it with you when you leave, or place it in the closed garbage bins that are provided throughout the park.

● If you see raccoons, do not approach them or give them food as they are wild animals with sharp claws and can be dangerous when they feel frightened.

—[3]—. Along with this, we will be holding volunteer park cleanups on the last Saturday of each month. Our next one is scheduled for June 27. Anyone interested in taking part should report to the park visitor center to register. —[4]—. All participants will be provided with protective gloves and vests, water, and a light lunch.

42. Why was the announcement written?
43. What is NOT stated about raccoons?
44. What will volunteers be given?
45. In which of the positions marked [1], [2], [3], and [4] does the following sentence best belong? "We will accept registration forms up to two days prior to the event."
